Koonduan Koop is a cooperative dedicated to producing and promoting authentic Sabahan pineapple products, crafted with care by our local community. Based near the foothills of Mount Kinabalu, we are proud to transform the natural sweetness of pineapples into high-quality products such as pineapple jam, pineapple juice, dried pineapple, and our signature anchovy pineapple chutney.
About Koonduan Koop
Our story begins with the farmers of Koonduan Village, who have long cultivated pineapples as part of their livelihood. By coming together as a cooperative, we are able to share resources, improve production standards, and bring our unique local flavors to a wider market.
The Everything Pineapple project is a socio-economic development project aimed at empowering women from Kg Kiau Nuluh, Kota Belud. The project was introduced to this pineapple producing community as a part of trauma-recovery effort by Good Shepherd Services after the 2015 Sabah earthquake to enable women to increase their household income. The project which started with 11 women was incorporated as a cooperative in 22 February 2019, with more than 60 women members.
